It also has SpeedSafe assist opening with KVT ball bearing pivot action that rides smooth as butter. The handle is stainless steel with black oxide coating. The blade, being made of D2, is sharp and holds its edge very well. The hidden flipper is used to open the blade and the handle has a reversible, tip-up pocket clip.
